Watching a movie and fighting food poverty at once – who would have thought?
The Mobile Cinema Project started in February 2017 and in that time, it has screened over 220 films to over 11,000 people.
The cinema shows family films during foodbank operating times and has proved popular with young children, who may otherwise not get to enjoy a cinema experience.
The cinema is also available for hire by other groups with payment in food, or hire fees converted to food.
